- The exhibition is open to everyone. The exhibition is to be held under FIAP, PSA and ISF patronages and complies with their regulations. The theme of Biennale contest is open.
- The contest includes 5 sections :
Color prints’ and monochrome sections: The subject is free in both sections.
Nature Section: The Nature photography section must reflect observations of Nature beauty, wild life and scenery with its honest and artistic presentation.
Experimental Section: Works can be of any alternative technique processes, contemporary forms and can present unusual manipulated images, individual and creative, that break away from traditional photography.
Water Section: The esthetics and importance of water for our daily life is the basic idea. Photography must show the influence of water to the development of mankind and the environment as well as the meaning of water as source of electric energy. It may be water landscapes, lakes, rivers, oceans, waterfalls and the underwater world. - Awards: FIAP Golden medal (+ US$ 500), FIAP Silver medal (+ US$ 300), FIAP Bronze medal (+ US$ 200) and ribbons in each section. PSA Golden medals in each section along with Silver and Bronze medals in nature and water sections. ISF Gold, Silver, Bronze medals and diplomas in each section. Diplomas of Ukrainian photoartists National Union.
- The Biennale calendar: Closing date: November, 15; Judging: November, 17; Notification: November, 25; Exhibition opening: December, 18; Catalogues, return of prints: January, 25.
- All entrants must fill in the entry form for each section entered. You can also download it from www.fiap.com.ua.
- The prints accepted in the previous Biennale cannot be entered
- All entries must be the original work of an entrant.
- Each entrant may have a maximum of 4 prints in each section.
- All prints should not exceed 12’’x16’’ (30x45cm) size.
- All prints should have a label on the back with its title, author’s name, address and the number that matches the one given in the entry form.
- All possible care will be taken to protect entries, but no responsibility will be assumed for any loss or damage of entries either during the exhibitions or in transit.
- Your entry grants the organizers the right to reproduce any print free of charge for catalogue and/or publicity purposes, including newspapers, magazines, the exhibition calendar and all other kind of publications of our partners. The entrant accepts this when entering this biennale.
- Notification cards with scores will be sent in accordance with PSA‘s rules. Notification cards for overseas entrants will be sent by air mail or email.
- All acceptances of the Biennale will be sent to the PSA for credit towards „Star Rating“ and „Who‘s Who in Photography“.
- The exhibition hard cover catalogue of 5 stars quality will be published and then sent to all entrants as scheduled.
- International jury (all our judges are distinguished photographers ) Sergey Buslenko (Ukraine), Sergey Strelnikov (Ukraine), Rudolf Mausli (Switzerland), Daniel Brandly (Switzerland), Joerg F. Muller (Germany).
- Judging will be the held privately; the results are ultimate and cannot be revised.
- Deadline term. All entries along with the entry form should arrive not later than November 15th 2009
