The 2nd International Photographic Bienniale Rivne-2009 was open on the 23th of December in Chayka centre in Rivne, Ukraine. Exposition will be open until 20th of January

The Photographic Bienniale Rivne-2009 is held under the patronages of such acclaimed photographic associations as FIAP (Federation Internationale de l Art  Photoraphique),  PSA ( Photographic Society of America) and ISF (Image Sans Frontiere).

The Biennale is hosted by Photoclub Chas of Rivne, the regional centre of Rivne region, which lies in the Western part of Ukraine and is known for its  photographic scene and acomplished photoartists.

The cultural event is also held with the full support from the local government of Rivne region and the City Council of Rivne.

The objective the Photobienniale Rivne-2009 pursues is to make artists and people of different countries, diverse cultures and traditions closer to each other by means of the universal language of photographic art.
